WHO CAN HAVE THIS TREATMENT
Chemical peels are not appropriate for those who have been on Roaccutane in the previous 6 months, have open wounds, infections, rosacea, psoriasis, or dermatitis in the area to be treated.
Clients with olive or darker skin must use our recommended tyrosinase suppressing serum for two weeks prior to having a chemical peel performed.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED
We recommend 6 peel treatments spaced 2-4 weeks apart. This should be followed by maintenance treatments. Depending on how well you care for your skin afterwards, the results might persist for years.
AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
Your skin will be somewhat flushed after a chemical peel treatment. We recommend that no makeup be put to the skin for the next 12 hours. From day 2 to 7, depending on the kind of peel, you may have extremely mild to more moderate skin loss. We recommend that you do not pick at or exfoliate the dead skin too soon, as this may result in scarring or post-inflammatory pigmentation. When the skin peeling is finished, you will notice a significant improvement in the appearance of your skin. The skin’s look will be improved further over the next four to six weeks. The skin will appear brighter, clearer, firmer, and healthier.
